ALBANY, GA -- Local students took some time off from school to give back to the community.

Students from Sherwood Acres and local college students built items for a house with Habitat for Humanity on Willow Oak Court.

Students made decorations, small wooden projects, and other arts and crafts while some worked on building the house’s physical structure.

Habitat officials expect the project to be complete within the next few weeks.
