33-year-old Jamie Hood is said to be “at large” somewhere in the Athens Clarke-County area.

Police say Hood shot and killed Senior Officer Elmer ‘Buddy’ Christian Tuesday afternoon outside an Athens apartment complex.

Hood reportedly committed another carjacking and hasn’t been seen since.

There is a $50,000 reward for information leading to his capture.
