LEESBURG, GA -- Folks in Lee County are lining up hours in advance of pre-k registration.

Some say they have been waiting in line since 7:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.

One woman said they just want to make sure their child gets the best education.

“Well, because Lee County has a very good reputation for the pre-k program and the school system in general and so you like to be sure your child gets a slot in it,” Said Denise Echeveste.

Registration is at 9 a.m. Thursday morning for the East zone and Friday for the West zone.
