ALBANY, GA -- After successful evening events for New Years and Mardi Gras, Downtown Albany is introducing Nights@Dtown.

The monthly events will feature live music, food and beverages all for the adult and young professional crowd on the last Friday of every month. A location for the event is still in the works.

Downtown Manager Aaron Blair says he hopes Nights@Dtown brings nightlife back to Downtown Albany.

“What we're looking to do is one generate nighttime traffic and also to get people used to coming downtown as we continue to redefine downtown as a great place for entertainment and say dinner and fun with friends at night” says Blair.

The first Nights@Dtown will be Friday, April 29 beginning at 8 p.m.
