Albany firefighters respond to a fire and find a marijuana grow house

ALBANY, GA -- A marijuana grow house was discovered after a neighbor called about a fire at the house.

Major Bill Berry with the Drug Unit says 23-year-old Emmanuel Vickers, 21-year-old Rashelle Rentow and 18-year-old Mason Rentow are charged with Manufacturing Marijuana.

Four bushes of marijuana were recovered from the grow house that was set up in the closet at 104 S. West Road.

“They tried to hide them. The plants had been pulled out of the container where the water it, they pulled out top and put a blanket over it,” says Major Bill Berry.

The eight month old baby of Vickers and Rashelle was in the house during the bust. Berry says gave an additional Reckless Endangerment charge to Vickers, Rashelle and Mason.

Berry says the eight-month-old child is going to stay with grandparents.
