Live Oak Elementary students donate blankets, toys

ALBANY, GA. -- Some young good Samaritans spent today lending a helping hand to some even younger members of the community.

The Live Leaders from Live Oak Elementary visited the pediatric and neonatal wards units of Phoebe Putney Memorial.

The students donated items such as blankets, socks, puzzles, and crayons to the children staying in the hospital.

Officials with Live Oak hope teaching students to give back to the community when they’re young will make it a habit for their adult years.
