A motorcycle accident blocked traffic on US-19 Thursday afternoon
LEESBURG, GA. -- A motorcycle accident in Lee County backed up traffic during rush hour Thursday afternoon.
At 5:30 p.m. the Lee County Sheriff’s Office got a phone call about the accident.
Officials say Tiffany Richardson was pulling into the Winn Dixie shopping plaza when 32-year-old James Shannon Smith crashed his motorcycle into the side of her Chrysler.
Smith was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries and he’ll be charged with failing to yield at a right-a-way.
