ALBANY, GA. -- Just after 6 p.m. Monday evening 4-year-old Janae Watts was hit by a car at 644 Tulsa Lane off of Newton Road.

The accident shocked everyone and neighbor Jallessa Coe says the little girl plays outside frequently.  “About a dozen neighborhood kids were all playing across the street and when they were called to come back home she was running across the street when a car hit her head on” says Coe.

There was an ambulance in the neighborhood responding to another child’s bee sting when friends and family flagged down the ambulance for help.

Watts is recovering at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
