APD arrests Colin Bailey for Camping Prohibited and Urinating in Public
Colin Bailey was arrested by Albany police and was recently moved from his home under the Highway 19 bypass
ALBANY, GA -- Albany police contacted FOX 31 News saying a homeless man who was recently living under the Highway 19 bypass and later moved from there was arrested Thursday afternoon.
Police say Colin Bailey, 62, is charged with Camping Prohibited and Urinating in Public.
They say the charges stem from a February 11, 2011, complaint. Police officials say the person reporting the complaint stated Bailey was seen urinating in the area as a van full of daycare children passed through, stating the children witnessed the act.
APD says the arrest was also based on Bailey repeatedly violating the law. The offenses are violations of the City Ordinance and Bailey will have to appear before a Municipal Court Judge.
