Studio Echelon was presented a check for $1,000 Saturday
ALBANY, GA. -- A local dance studio gets a leg up from a sponsor.
Adacious Callaway is the choreographer and business owner of Studio Echelon, a Christian-based dance studio here in Albany.
They just received a check for $1,000 from the "Creative Genius" campaign--an outreach group for kids.
“There's so many drugs and gang violence and want them to be able to understand that they can put that energy into dance and into another focus,” Says Callaway.
Callaway actually had to interview for the sponsorship. The money will go toward the students in her class and any scholarships they provide.
Her studio is located at 1304-b West Broad Avenue.
