Albany Police need your help locating this man
APD is looking for this man.
ALBANY, GA. -- On January 28, 2011 at 1401 Owens Avenue the homeowners were awakened by a black man entering their home.
Now the Albany Police Department wants your help to catch him. Lieutenant Charlie Robinson says the man assaulted both victims while in the residence. “They actually fought with him until he ran out of the front door” says Robinson.
The victims were able to provide us this information for the sketch.
After sketching thousands of drawings for the Georgia Bureau of Investigations Marla Lawson is packing away her pad and pencil. She says since joining the bureau in 1973 she’s had the amazing opportunity to help police catch criminals, and although the career was unexpected, she embraced the chance to give back.
“I hate to admit this, but it feels good to sit in court, stare across the room and know that what you put on paper looks like the man over there in the chair. I think “YES! It took a grandmother with a pencil to catch you!” It makes me feel good because a lot of the victims are in terrible shape” says Lawson.
