Catherine Chandler charged with DUI,serious injury

ALBANY, GA. -- A Dougherty County grand jury has indicted a Westover High School guidance counselor and her husband in relation to an alleged hit-and-run with a golf cart.

Investigators say 40-year-old Catherine Chandler crashed her family’s golf cart into 32-year-old Christal Potter in October.

Potter was badly hurt and required surgery.

Catherine Chandler was indicted for DUI and two counts of serious injury by vehicle.

John Chandler was indicted for tampering with evidence – he allegedly tried to hide the golf cart.

No trial date has been set.
