Business leaders explore Georgia’s business and hunting opportunities
ALBANY, GA. -- The 23rd annual Georgia Quail Hunt kicked off with nearly two dozen business leaders from all over the world.
Since 1994 the hunt has brought guests to Georgia that have invested $2.5 billion dollars and created 8,400 jobs. Chris Clark with the Georgia Chamber of Commerce says the event is the perfect opportunity to show guests why Georgia is a great place to live and have a business. “We have men and women who have been to the hunt and developed strong relationships and in five to ten years they decide to bring their company to Georgia. That’s what we’re about – long term relationships and economic development” says Clark.
Georgia Governor Nathan Deal was at the event Wednesday evening and Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle will be in attendance Thursday night.
