Albany police need help to catch a thief, identity fraud case

ALBANY, GA -- The Albany Police Department is asking for your help in locating a suspected thief. 

52-year-old Noel Thomas is wanted on one count of theft by taking, ten counts of theft by deception, and one count of identity fraud. Investigators say Thomas stole the business license of Litman Flowers & Gifts and presented himself as the owner. He then opened a business checking account and wrote several checks in Albany. 

Thomas is 5’8” and weighs approximately 180 pounds. His last known address is 178 Cobblefield Drive in Albany. 

Anyone who has information regarding Thomas’ whereabouts should call Crime Stoppers at (229) 436-TIPS or contact the Financial Crimes Unit at (229) 431-3288.
