The home improvement store plans to hire close to 10,000 part-time employees at all stores, eliminate 1,700 middle-management jobs
ALBANY, GA -- Lowe’s stores across the country are looking for 8,000 to 10,000 people willing to work on the weekend.
Stores nationwide will be hiring part-time weekend positions but also cutting approximately 1,700 middle-management jobs across the county.
FOX 31 contacted the Lowe’s in Albany on Wednesday: Managers at the store say they cannot comment at this time about if they are hiring or firing anyone at their location.
The home improvement store had close to 1,700 stores in the United States.
