ALBANY, GA -- Albany Recreation and Parks held its first day of registration for the new indoor youth football league. This is the city’s first shot at an arena football league for kids.

Organizers Suzanne Davis with Albany Recreation and Parks says so far they’re getting a lot of positive feedback from the community. “We had people waiting this morning at 9 o'clock and that's the response we like. We are very excited and interested in this program and the community is as well,” says Davis

If you missed registration Saturday, don’t worry there’s still time to get signed up. Recreation and Parks is hosting another registration day February 5th at 1301 North Monroe.

Kids 6-12 years old are eligible to play. Registration is $35; shoulder pads are provided. Free Panther season tickets are given to the players.
