ALBANY, GA. -- It’s time for businesses in the City of Albany and Dougherty County to renew their occupational tax certificate.

The treasury office is mailing out reminders to all businesses on orange half sheets of paper.  The mailer will contain a web access number and the business’s occupational tax certificate number if they would like to renew via the internet.

There are three ways to renew the tax:

1 – Online with a credit card.

2 – Download and print renewal forms, fill out, and submit by mail with a check

3 – Visit the Treasury office in person at 240 Pine Avenue, Suite 150, Albany Georgia

The due date for all businesses is March 15, 2011.
