Albany police are investigating a stabbing that killed a 29-year-old man in east Albany

ALBANY, GA -- An Albany woman is in the Dougherty County Jail tonight facing charges of murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a weapon.

Police say 29-year-old Ladiedra Judge stabbed 29-year-old Contravious Holman in his upper body.

The incident took place on Sunday at the Pine Forest Apartment Complex on Pinson Road.

Holman was taken to Phoebe Putney Hospital but later pronounced dead.

A woman has been charged in the fatal stabbing of a man in at the Pine Forest Apartment complex in the 500 block of Pinson Road on Monday.

Albany police say officers responded to an aggravated assault call Monday afternoon, and when they arrived, they found Contravis Holman, 29, with a stab wound to his upper body. They say Holman was transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Albany police say Ladiedra Judge, 29, was questioned by detectives. They say she is now charged with Aggravated Assault, Murder and Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Crime.
