ALBANY, GA -- Two winning tickets were sold in Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing. The winning numbers were 4, 8, 15, 25 and 47, with 42 being picked as the Mega Ball number.
The Georgia Lottery website says the two winning tickets were sold in Idaho and and Washington state. The two winners will split the whopping $355 million dollar jackpot, which is the fourth-largest lotto jackpot in U.S. history.
Thousands of people in Southwest Georgia made a last minute dash to their favorite lotto locations Tuesday night to buy tickets and take a 1 in 176,000,000 shot at becoming an instant millionaire.
