ALBANY, GA -- The Red Cross is offering free plane tickets to blood donors this month.
It’s because January is national blood donor month.
Officials say they constantly need people to come in and donate.
“But we do want our donors to come in. During this time of the year donations are usually slow, but the demand for blood is still in need. We always constantly need blood,” said Lena Thomas of the Red Cross.
Each of the Red Cross blood centers is holding a drawing for their donors for a chance at two Delta Airlines tickets.
