Two Albany men kick in door/fight with resident

Police charge both men with trespass/battery

ALBANY, GA -- Two men are under arrest for allegedly kicking in the door of an Albany apartment and then fighting with the resident.

Albany police say 20-year-old Akeem Davis and a 16-year-old juvenile forced their way inside 1202 Vandeam Street around 1:30 this morning.

17-year-old Montavious Haywood was inside and fought with the intruders.

Police say Davis and the juvenile left following a brief struggle but later returned to continue the battle.

Davis was arrested on the scene and the juvenile turned himself in later.

Haywood has minor bumps and bruises.

Davis and the juvenile face charges of criminal trespass and simple battery.
