Nearly 400 students graduate from Albany State University
ALBANY, GA. -- Albany State University held a commencement ceremony for 390 students who successfully completed all of their academic requirements at the undergrad, master’s, and doctoral level.
Shirley Sherrod was the keynote speaker who discussed the responsibility the students have moving on to their next step in life. She emphasized that everything they do from this point on is not only a reflection of their character, but also Albany State University.
Thousands of faculty, staff, family, and friends attended the ceremony to honor the academic accomplishments of the new graduates.
