ALBANY, GA -- Two Albany men who were found guilty in the murder of Jack Camp have been sentenced to life in prison.

Dougherty County District Attorney Greg Edwards told FOX 31 News that Judge Loring Gray sentenced 33-year-old Darrell Anderson and 22-year-old Christopher Ingram to life in prison plus an additional five years for the murder of Jack Camp. Judge Gray handed down the sentences today.

Camp was 41-years old when he was shot to death outside the Regency Apartments where he lived.  During the trial, prosecutors said Camp was murdered when he stumbled upon a drug deal near his apartment.

Defense attorneys said the case was a “ball of confusion led by a rush to judgment.”

The office the Clerk of Superior Court for Dougherty County told FOX 31 News on Friday that a third man convicted of murdering Camp, Dontavious Wilson, is scheduled to be sentenced later this month.  Police say Wilson shot Camp in the face.
