ALBANY, GA. -- For the third year the Easter Seals of Southwest Georgia and Another Level Motorcycle Club partnered together to grant 100 special needs children their Christmas wishes.

Santa Clause had a motorcycle escort as he arrived to pass out hundreds of gifts.

The families are all served by the Eastern Seals of Southern Georgia Family Support and Respite Services.

Another Level Motorcycle Club members say they’ve worked hard all year to fundraise and fulfill the three wishes from each child’s Christmas list.

Organizer Rosalyn Kirk says it’s important to make sure special needs children get the opportunity to drop the “needs” label and just feel special for a day.  “The parents of special needs children are usually more focused on providing for the needs of the child.  Some of the kids are very medically involved so it makes it more difficult to care for the children throughout the year.  So sometimes the gifts are put on the back burner because they’re focused on the needs and not the wants” says Kirk.
