LEESBURG, GA -- Black Friday has come and gone, but that doesn't mean retailers are done slashing prices.

“Cyber Monday, it's an off-shoot of Black Friday, and it started in 2005. It is mainly aimed at offering discounts and getting people to buy,” said Darton Economist Aaron Johnson.

On Cyber Monday the deals aren’t found in stores, but online.

“A lot of other people are like, ‘man I want to avoid those lines and the rush of the crowd.’ So here you are getting another segment of consumers that otherwise would not have bought over the weekend,” said Johnson.

That other segment of consumers makes for big profits for E-tailers.

Analysts expect online sales to reach $32.4 billion this holiday season, an 11 percent increase from last year.

One local company wants to jump on that internet selling bandwagon, hoping that soon you'll be able to start buying their outdoor equipment from inside your home.

“We're in the middle of trying to offer all of our product online,” said Jackie Sizemore of Lee County’s Backwoods Outdoors.

His store is in the middle of revamping their website to incorporate online sales. And their sights are set on reaching customers who can't walk into the store.

“Out-of-towners that have come through and really like your store, but they don't get a chance to get here all the time. So they can jump online and something that caught their eye, they can just order it online and we will get it right to them,” said Sizemore.

It's been difficult trying to get everything for sale online in time for the holiday season, but they hope to have that site up and running early next year.
