The Albany Police Department is using a new technology to alert citizen’s of any important news.

ALBANY, GA. -- Anyone can receive crime alerts about your neighborhood or community by visiting the City of Albany's webpage, clicking on the Nixle icon at the bottom of the page, and signing up. 

During the registration process you have the option to select if you would like to receive alerts through email, text messages, or both.
