116 education employees in Georgia could face disciplinary action for violations surrounding CRCT testing
ALBANY, GA -- 116 education employees in Georgia could face disciplinary action for violations surrounding CRCT testing.
The workers were turned in to the State Professional Standards Commission by their individual school districts.
However, not one name was turned in by the Dougherty County School System despite the fact the district itself is being investigated for suspicious erasure marks on CRCT tests.
But district officials say they have nothing to hide.
“After all this publicity and after all these investigations and all this activity about cheating, we haven't had anybody to my knowledge come forward and say ‘I saw party x inappropriately change an answer,’” said Dougherty County School System attorney Tommy Coleman.
GBI investigators have been in and out of Dougherty County schools talking to teachers and administrators.
District officials say the investigation will likely carry on into next year.
