ALBANY, GA -- The Albany Area YMCA hosted its annual Holiday Chili Run Saturday morning. About 400 people showed up for the event. The race offered three courses- a one mile run, a 5-k, and a 15-k.
Albany Ares YMCA Executive Director Dave Wallace says all proceeds from the event go to a great cause. “The proceeds from this go to the annual support campaign to provide financial assistance for those who can’t afford YMCA programs and membership,” says Wallace.
Officials were happy with the turnout and can’t wait to host the event again next year.
