LEE COUNTY, GA. -- Lee County is still in the running to receive a playground for special needs children.

The Butterfly Kisses Project ranked #2 in the last round and as runner up their shot at winning a $50,000 grant through the Pepsi Refresh Project rolled over to the month of November.

You can help Lee County get the special needs park by voting three different ways for free every day until the end of the month.

Traci Henry says her goal is to build a special needs playground because children with physical disabilities can’t always play with generic playground equipment.  If she wins Traci says she would spend $35,000 to purchase a facility and the playground equipment, $10,000 to purchase the land, and $5,000 to pay for the equipment/labor to clear the land.
