Lee Co. Family Connections hosts first Princess Tea Party

LEESBURG, GA -- Tea is served!

Lee County community organization, Family Connection, sponsored a Princess Tea Party, which sold out for the two tea times. This is a first time event for the group, but organizers are already saying they will host it again next year.

The young girls who attended had tea and did a craft with other Disney princesses and princes. They also received a manners lesson, learning how to sip tea and politely turn down food that they don’t care for.

“We’ll have tea and all the little goodies that you eat at tea time. Then they’ll get an opportunity to do another craft. They can either take their pictures with their friends or with a princess or prince of their choice,” says Lee County Family Connection Coordinator Patsy Shirley.

Shirley says the Princess Tea Time is a fundraiser for a Family Connection event in March they are preparing for.
