The newly appointed interim officials help community members by assisting them with voting issues
ALBANY, GA -- The Albany-Doughterty NAACP branch did their part to help out voters on election day.
The newly appointed interim officials help community members by assisting them with voting issues, such as getting to and from the polls. The group traveled around Albany by van transporting anyone who needed help to get out and vote.
Albany-Dougherty NAACP President Marvin Jones says it's important that everyone get the chance to have their voice heard. "This is your day to voice your opinion and we want to help you do that," says Jones.
The newly appointed Albany-Dougherty NAACP staff is planning on helping the community more in the future.
