Last minute statistics before thousands of voters hit the polls
ALBANY, GA. -- The Georgia Newspaper Partnership and Mason-Dixon Polling & Research Inc. of Washington, D.C surveyed 625 likely voters by telephone about the upcoming election.
The poll results show Republican Nathan Deal is leading Democrat Roy Barnes 47% to 40%.
Libertarian John Monds pulls in 6% while the remaining 7% of people polled are undecided.
