After a day of bands and competition Sunday’s festivities were all about worship
ALBANY, GA -- Albany's first ever River Jam wrapped up this afternoon. After a day of bands and competition Sunday’s festivities were all about worship.
Praise dance teams and church choirs came out today. Organizers say the whole weekend has been a success.
“We had a great turnout yesterday, it was our first year. We had a couple of intimate times with some crowds. But the bands were wonderful, the vendors were having a great time. We're just excited to have a new event downtown,” said Suzanne Davis of the Albany Recreation and Parks Department.
About 600 came out to the River Jam. Officials say they plan on doing it again next year.
