Lee County school leaders gave residents a tour of four schools
LEESBURG, GA -- Some Lee County residents went back to elementary school, only this time they weren’t in class. County educators gave the community a chance to see what goes on inside school walls.
School system leaders gave parents and other community members the chance to take a bus tour to four schools.
Residents were able to go into classrooms and look at what each school does on a daily basis. Parent Jeannette Snedden says the tour is a great way to help improve her own children’s education. “I think it's important for us parents to see how the schools are doing and to get ideas that can help the school system better the education for our children,” says Snedden.
Officials look forward to hosting the tour each year because it offers residents a behind the scene look at what the system is doing.
