AUGUSTA, GA. (AP) -- The Georgia Department of Labor is kicking off its career expo and job fair in Augusta.
The event from 1-4 p.m. Tuesday at the James Brown Arena is expected to draw scores of job seekers from across the state.
The fair will feature 75 companies, educational institutions and resource agencies. Some employers will be hiring, while others will be recruiting for future possible openings.
Labor Commissioner Michael Thurmond will kick off the event at 1 p.m.
