Nathan Deal and Roy Barnes turned up the heat during a gubernatorial debate

ALBANY, GA -- Republican gubernatorial candidate Nathan Deal and Democrat Roy Barnes clashed in a debate Tuesday night that focused on issues important to the region -- water rights, tax breaks for agriculture and deepening the Port of Savannah, reported WAGA FOX 5 in Atlanta.

Libertarian candidate John Monds did not attend the debate Tuesday.
