Flames gutted the 'Rumors' club on Sunday
ALBANY, GA -- The owner of an Albany nightclub that was gutted by fire says he won’t reopen.
Bobby Jackson owns Rumors on Thornton Drive.
Albany firefighters responded to a call at the business around 10:45 Sunday night.
"When they arrived, we had heavy smoke showing out of the building," said Assistant Fire Chief Allen Cravey. "They found inside engulfed in flames."
The club was empty at the time of the fire.
