Albany State University has a few more police officers

ALBANY, GA -- Albany State University has a few more police officers.

The university held a swearing in ceremony for 4 new officers. This brings the total number of university officers up to 18.

Officer Cadedria Hill says it’s important to recognize the officers for their hard work and joining the force. “Just to recognize them for the great job they do for the university because it takes a certain person to be an officer,” says Hill.

Two members of the department were also promoted.
