The police chief of Boaz, Alabama, says a man wanted in Georgia on charges involving sex crimes against children was arrested by his officers and turned over to authorities in Polk County, Georgia, reported WAGA FOX 5 in Atlanta.
POLK COUNTY, GA -- Chief Terry Davis says his officers arrested 28-year-old Samuel Scott Haney at a restaurant in Boaz on Saturday.
Haney remained in the Polk County jail on Tuesday awaiting a hearing, reported FOX 5.
