ALBANY, GA -- The state has divvied out the $200 million from the Race to the Top money and the Dougherty County School System is getting a slice.

The district will receive $6,853,142.

The state department of education divided the money based on a percentages of economically disadvantaged students in each district.

The Dougherty County School System has not said how the will use the funds.
