Local authorities execute a search warrant at Coco Nutts Lounge on suspected gang activity
ALBANY, GA -- Around 1 a.m. Saturday morning the Albany Police Department’s Gang Unit, Albany Metro SWAT Team, Albany Dougherty Drug Unit, APD Special Detail Unit, Albany Probation Office, Alcohol Firearm and Tobacco, and the Dougherty County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant at Coco Nutts Lounge in the 400 block of Blaylock Avenue.
Police say authorities were investigating the location because of tips from the community that gang activity may be occurring inside the location.
Authorities arrested and charged the following individuals:
- Sean Frazier arrested for warrants for Aggravated Assault and Gang Participation
- Cedric Robinson arrested for Possession of Marijuana (Less than an Ounce)
- Quintavis Mathis arrested for Possession of a Firearm by a person under 18, Possession of Marijuana (With the Intent to Distribute), Underage Persons on Premises and Possession of Cocaine (With the Intent to Distribute)
- Christopher Simmons arrested for Possession of a Firearm by a person under 18, Possession of Marijuana (With the Intent to Distribute), Underage Persons on Premises and Possession of Cocaine (With the Intent to Distribute)
- Gabrian Boyd arrested for Possession of Marijuana (Less than an Ounce)
- Timmaneshia Martin arrested for Possession of Marijuana (Less than an Ounce)
- Brandon Stokes arrested for Possession of Marijuana (With the Intent to Distribute) and Possession of Cocaine (With the Intent to Distribute)
- Javorie Williams arrested for Possession of Cocaine
- Roger Farmer Jr. arrested for possession of Cocaine
- Richard Carter arrested for Possession of Cocaine (With the Intent to Distribute)
- Serard Irvin arrested for Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Carry a Concealed Weapon
- Arlexis Green arrested for Possession of Cocaine
- Katrina McDowell arrested for Probation Violation
Officials found three automatic guns, marijuana, cocaine, and $220 cash at the location.
