Former President Jimmy Carter was released from a hospital in Ohio on Thursday.  He had been hospitalized for two days because of a gastric viral infection, reported WAGA FOX 5 in Atlanta. 

CLEVELAND, OH -- Representatives for the former president said Carter will resume his schedule with a meeting this week in Washington. Carter fell ill during a flight to Cleveland.  He was traveling to Ohio for a book signing.
