$2,000 check is part of Pepsi Refresh Project
ALBANY, GA -- Darton College received a refreshing check today.
Representatives from Buffalo Rock Distributorship presented Darton College President Dr. Peter Sireno with a $2,000 check as part of the Pepsi Refresh Project.
The money will be used to provide scholarships to deserving students.
"Anytime you receive money from the community, whether it’s from individuals or businesses, it shows support of the school and it shows support of the community," said Sireno.
The Pepsi Refresh Project has awarded millions of dollars to organizations around the country.
