ALBANY, GA -- Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle was at Doublegate Country Club today, visiting Karen Kemp’s campaign.

He says voter concerns about underemployment, jobs and education are at the top of his list. Casey says he wants to focus on small businesses and a balanced state budget.

This election, he says voter turnout is crucial, but negative campaigning could drive them away.

“It’s unfortunate that you see as many negative campaign ads. What we need in Georgia is more debates about public policy and the direction we’re going to take the state,” says Cagle.

With the political atmosphere consumed by voter frustration, Casey says negative campaigning isn’t the way to go.
