The Houston coroner later described the child as skeletal
MACON, GA. (AP) -- A Macon area couple is facing charges after authorities discovered their 2-year-old son weighed just 12 pounds, 6 ounces at his death.
Houston County Sheriff Cullen Talton says authorities have charged 23-year-old Sade Shamon King and 25-year-old William Thomas Davis III with cruelty to children in the death of D'Shawn Davis.
Davis called 911 Saturday after the child stop breathing. Authorities say emergency workers found the child's body on the floor of his mother's bedroom. The Houston coroner later described the child as skeletal.
