MOULTRIE, GA -- A Moultrie man has been arrested after police say he broke into a house and touched an 11-year-old girl inappropriately.

25-year-old Jasper Leggett, Jr. is charged with child molestation, burglary, and probation violation.

A woman told Moultrie police that she woke up on Sunday morning and found an unknown man, later identified as Leggett, sitting on her floor.

The woman’s daughter reportedly told her Leggett had touched her in her “private parts.”

Leggett left the house before police arrived but was found later that morning.
