Albany State University hosted it's second lecture in it's Natural Sciences Seminar Series
ALBANY, GA -- A Florida State University professor spoke to students and professors at Albany State University Tuesday.
It was all part of the university’s Natural Sciences Seminar Series. Each week the university brings in a new speaker to talk about their career in Natural Science.
Dr. Loise Wrensford helped organize the event and says the annual series is important for students because it gives them an inside look at some possible careers. “It helps expose the students to what’s available for them out there. What they need to do to prepare for those opportunities and what it will take to succeed in those opportunities,” says Wrensford.
Albany State is hosting additional seminars on September 21st, 28th, and October 5th.
