The drug sweep was requested by school administrators
Drug agents arrested two Thomas County Central High School students at the school during a drug sweep Friday morning.
Narcotics agents conducted a random search of classrooms and hallways. They say 17-year-old Addison Colby Walker was hiding marijuana in his pants.
Walker reportedly had bought the marijuana Friday morning from another TCCHS student, a juvenile. Walker is charged with marijuana possession.
The juvenile is charged with marijuana possession with intent to distribute, sale of marijuana, and marijuana possession with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school.
The sweep, which began about 9 a.m., was requested by school administrators. Students were ordered to stay put during the search.
