ALBANY, GA -- The Lily Pad Sane Center will have some extra financial support. The not-for-profit is getting a grant for around $220,000 annually for the next three years from the Governor's Office for Children and Families.

Lily Pad Executive Director Karen Kemp says the money will allow them to do many of the things they haven't been able to do. “This is going to enable us to establish a system of care that will see those families through the difficult times and also follow them for several years,” says Kemp.

Kemp says she is excited about the grant and hopes to expand child services throughout Dougherty County.
