Deputies get more than $22,000 worth of illegal prescription drugs
ALBANY, GA. -- Officers with the Crisp County Sheriff's Department make a big drug bust while patrolling I-75.
33-year-old old Travis Pitts of Lake Wales, Florida, was busted during a routine traffic stop. Deputies say they found more than 600 tablets of prescription drugs under the hood of Pitts’ car; including xanax, oxycotin, and oxycodone. The drugs are worth about $22,000 on the street. Pitts is charged with possession of prescription drugs with intent to distribute.
Pitts was also ticketed for speeding, 75 MPH in a 60 MPH zone.
